The Chaotic Toxicity of TikTokers and Its Followers

Desensitization Station:

TikTok, the digital realm where racism, abuse and all manners of toxicity are not just tolerated but celebrated; a veritable desensitization station that thrives on chaos and dysfunction.

Here, TikTokers live stream their most toxic selves, drawing in a viewership that seems to be a delightful mix of those desperate to fit in, those who’ve given up on life and the common individual who looks and acts like they’ve just escaped from an asylum. It’s a bizarre buffet of uncouth behaviour, and everyone’s invited!

Let’s dive into this cauldron of chaos, shall we? The viewerships I am referring to are a curious breed. First, we have the archaic thinkers, those who cling to outdated mentalities as if they were prized possessions. Their desperation to fit in leads them to indulge in the very toxicity and crimes they claim to disdain, creating a loop of mental warfare. Then there are the individuals who’ve given up, the ones who consume TikTok like it’s their last lifeline. They’re lost in a sea of nonsense, desperately searching for meaning in the madness, only to find themselves knee-deep in drama.

And let’s not forget the wild cards, the ones who seem to have made a daring escape from some kind of mental health facility. They flock to these toxic TikTokers, drawn in by the chaos and dysfunction, their own lives so crummy that they’ve become addicted to the very madness that always spirals out of control. It’s like watching a train wreck itself in slow motion, and they can’t look away.

So, why do these viewers enable such toxic behaviour? It’s simple: misery loves company. By supporting these TikTokers, they create a sense of belonging in a world that feels increasingly isolating. It’s a twisted form of validation, where the more outrageous the behaviour, the more attention they receive. It’s like giving a toddler a cookie for throwing a tantrum. Sure, it’s not healthy, but it keeps them fed (at least for a moment).

Now, let’s address the elephant in the room: that breed are not my target audience, and frankly, they creep me out. I take pride in my community, multifaceted individuals who possess intelligence and discernment that sets them apart from the rowdy crowd. While others might get swept up in the drama, my viewers are grounded, making it easy for us to brush off the fake profiles and fabricated exposés that have become the bread and butter of this toxicity-loving platform.

Why should I care about their attempts to drag me into their whirlwind of nonsense? I’m not like the others. I’m here to entertain and inform, not to engage in the mental warfare that these TikTokers thrive on. My community understands that there’s a difference between genuinity and the toxic spectacle that unfolds on live streams.

As TikTok continues to desensitize its audience to racism, abuse and other toxic behaviours, it’s crucial to recognize the patterns at play. While the chaos may be entertaining to some, it’s a slippery slope into a world where empathy and understanding are tossed aside for the sake of cliques and views.

My wonderful community, keeps their heads high and their standards higher. While the others revel their toxicity, we’ll continue to thrive in intelligence and discernment, leaving the chaos for those who truly crave it.
